See Scott #195. Look close at the illustration in Scott. The "TAXA DE GUERRA" is part of the stamp illustration and the other is an overprint. See Portuguese Africa Scott #MR1. Actually a double overprint for the stamp you have

Thanks for this one too ! As I said in my other post - I really need to put my reading glasses on when looking at the catalog. The image was so light in the catalog until you pointed it out I did not see the Port Africa MR overprint - so I just skipped over it. Steve

While I am at this - I have this Cape Verde overprinted stamp. Once again - no mention of this stamp in Scott. Any help would be appreciated.. Thanks, Steve
