The first two are Polish local stamps, the third one is from the British Mandate of Palestine, 1922. Scott #57
Thank You
Some additional information:
The Przedborz stamp is a forgery type 1. The rays between "Rada" and "Miejska" is pointing almost straight down. On the real stamp they are sloping to the left.
The second stamp, Poczta Miejska, is also a fake. In the catalogue "Poland 1918 Locals" by J. Barefoot Ltd, you can read this: Purely philatelic or bogus issue, which was claimed by it´s promoters as a local issue for the town. Neither during the WW1 Occupation nor in he 1918-19 Polish period was there any local post service organised in Checiny, a postal service only opening under the national administration in 1921.
Cancels are genuin, apparently back-dated
Thanks who would have thought the workings behind the stamps
I've come to the conclusion that almost every early Poland stamp is a fake. What I can't really get my head around is why so many were faked, was it for postal purposes? It certainly can't be for philatelic purposes when many were not very rare! Or was someone just doing it for fun, because they could?
