They just don't make stock books as good anymore. The last couple I bought have been disappointing. I like the stock books with the clear plastic hollders - so I can see the stamps in the book. Lately the ones I have gotten have the same problem. The adhesive that holds the plastic strips in place start to fail and become loose. The stamps then fall thru the bottom of the strip. Also one of the latest books I purchased the binding holding the book together is failing as well. Any suggestions on what good books are out there - if I decide to get a couple of new ones soon ? Thanks, Steve

re: Stock Books

I have had good luck with Safe stock books. You can get 16/32/64 pages on black or white backgrounds with clear or translucent strips.

I prefer 32 page on black with clear strips. Prices are reasonable.

Lighthouse, but go on ebay, and get the oldies!
Man, they really do not make this stuff like they used to.
One of my amazon stockbooks took 2 weeks to get a "fishy" smell out.
